Punjab Education Department has decided to make the promotion of all teachers online through the HRMS system. Earlier, the education department did E-transfer, leave, ACR, and annual PER online. Now the current seniority number of teachers is available on HRMS Portal. So the teachers can check the latest seniority lists of their relevant cader.

The cadre of teachers is PST, EST, and SST. All cadres have science general subjects, drawing, physical teachers, computer teachers, biology, physics, math, and English teachers. There are PST to EST and EST to SST promotions.

PROMOTION LINKED TRAINING BPS 17 to 18 and 19 to 20.

The school Education Department conducts an Important 4-week training for Promoted teachers of BPS 17 and above. The purpose of this is to teach about the responsibilities because promoted officers have to work as DDOs, as a manager, and as heads of the institution.

So that the teachers get aware of the new role and responsibilities. So that the promoted teachers can manage their school’s administrative affairs properly.

Promotion 2023 DPC Grade BPS 17,18,19,20

Every year the promotion lists of teachers are prepared and teachers are given the opportunity to view lists for accuracy.

After that, the DPC Departmental Promotion Committee completes working for BPS 17 to 18, 18 to 19, and 19 to 20 are included. Recently a Follow-up Meeting Regarding Promotion Cases like BS 16 to 17, BS 17 to 18 and BPS 18 to 19 and BS 19 to 20

When the final lists are prepared. So orders are issued to them after the approval signature of the regular authority. While SST to Headmaster and Headmaster to Senior Headmaster are principal promotions. So the promotions of grades 16 to 17 and 17 to 18, 18 to 19, and 19 to 20 are included.

The procedure of Correction Seniority list

All concerned principals/headmasters will inform the teachers. That they check their seniority lists and if there is any inaccuracy. So submit documentary evidence within 2 days in the office of the District Education Officer i.e. DEO and CEOs. No appeal for correction/updating of sonority list data will be entertained after the due date. Because after the cut date data will be considered for the preparation of the final seniority list. A provisional/temporary seniority list of all cadres submitted by your office for 50% promotion of teachers as per the Promotion policy.

Time Scale Promotion:

According to the new policy, after 10 Years every employee is eligible for a time-scale promotion.

Employee’s date of appointment or date of permanent is important for promotion.
